About
Khaya Thsepo provides love, care and support for children between 4 months and 6 years.
Objectives of the project
- To provide daily psycho-social stimulation (physical, emotional, educational and spiritual support) to identified children between 4 months and 6 years.
- To provide an age-appropriate educational programme, daily.
- To serve at least two nutritious meals per day.
- To provide transport for the children to and from the Centre.
- To sustain the Centre by fundraising ie proposal writing and events.
Impact of the project
Beneficiaries
- Up to 55 children between the ages of 4 months and 6 years.
- 7 African ladies – admin and practitioners – who receive a monthly stipend (when available).
- 2 Drivers – both Africans – who transport the children to and from Khaya Tshepo daily.
On the Children
- A safe haven during the day.
- Two nutritious meals per day.

- Exposed to new environments through diverse excursions.
- Improved life skills.
- Improved health and welfare.
On the families
- Grants coming into the homes.
- Family caregivers are free to fulfill daily responsibilities.
- Older siblings can attend school regularly.
- Sick parents/guardians can rest and receive care during the day.
On the community
- Employment opportunities.
- Opportunity for businesses, churches, schools, service clubs and individuals to support their community by CSI Programmes, special projects and donations.
